iOS Bluetooth Connection Troubleshooting


Ensure that the POINT app is downloaded

  1. The Point app is necessary to connect to POINT
  2. Users will occasionally download the Scale-Tec Scale app by mistake
  3. Available in the App Store

Turn on Bluetooth

  1. Go to settings and turn on Bluetooth

Turn on Location Services

  1. Go to settings, then privacy and turn on Location services

Close the POINT app and reopen

  1. Double tap the home button and then swipe the app to close


Perform a hard reboot

  1. Hold the power button and the home button until the phone or tablet turns off and begins to restart


Delete the POINT app and reinstall

  1. Touch and hold the POINT app until options appear, then choose uninstall
  2. Go to the app store and search Scale Tec POINT
  3. Install the POINT app and login to your account
