Bluetooth Connection Troubleshooting


Ensure that the POINT app is downloaded

  1. The Point app is necessary to connect to POINT
  2. Users will occasionally download the Scale-Tec Scale app by mistake
  3. Available in the Google Play Store

Turn on Bluetooth

  1. Go to settings and turn on Bluetooth

Turn on Location Services

  1. Go to settings, then Biometrics and Security, scroll down to privacy and turn on Location services

Close the POINT app and reopen

  1. Press the recents button and then swipe the app to close


Restart the device

  1. Hold the lock button until power options appear, then choose restart


Delete the POINT app and reinstall

  1. Touch and hold the POINT app until options appear, then choose uninstall
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and search Scale Tec POINT
  3. Install the POINT app and login to your account
