BRENT 774 Grain Cart Scale System

Questions to be asked to identify the correct scale variation....
1. What is the serial number of the grain cart?
2. Does the grain cart have large "metric" floater tires?
3. Does the grain cart have a bolted on "fixed" hitch that is bolted directly to the end cap, or does it have a swivel hitch that is slid into a sleeve on the grain cart (see images below for detail)?
The Brent 774 Grain Cart Scale System is a completely bolt on type scale installation. There is no welding required.
The Brent Grain Cart Scale system has four different variations depending on the style of the hitch. Attention must be considered in identifying the correct kit for the BRENT 774! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SERIAL NUMBER BREAKS! Please see the information below to identify the correct scale system and pay attention to the alerts within each variation.
Typical installation time is 6 hours or more.
Variation (1) 3.75" S/N 100000-774451

Identify prior to purchasing....
- Check Serial Number on Grain Cart falls within the serial number block identified for this scale kit.
- This kit provides load cell spindles of 3.75" diameter.
This scale kit reduces the 4.5" Spindle to 3.75" spindles. It should only be used on grain carts that do not use the large floater metric tires, and only on grain carts that utilize a smaller 30.5/32 size tires. It is also important that this kit is used with the appropriate serial number block.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below with a shaft inserted into a sleeve and bolted on the rear to swivel.
It is important to note, after installation of the scale system your hitch receiver will no longer swivel.

This scale kit reduces the 4.5" Spindle to 3.75" spindles. It is a lower cost option, and should only be used on grain carts that do not use the large floater metric tires, and only on grain carts that utilize a smaller 30.5/32 size tires.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below with a shaft inserted into a sleeve and bolted on the rear to swivel

This kit is required to be used with carts that have large metric floater tires and the associated serial number.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by four bolts to the frame of the grain cart.
