The Brent 876 Grain Cart Scale System is a completely bolt on type scale installation. There is no welding required.
The Brent Grain Cart Scale system has two different variations depending on the style of the hitch and spindle size preferred. Attention must be considered in identifying the correct kit for the BRENT 876! Please see the information below to identify the correct scale system and pay attention to the alerts within each variation.
The main difference between these two variations is the option to use a smaller spindle in place of the 4.5" spindle for cost savings. Each serial number break has the spindle option associated with it. Pay close attention to the alerts regarding spindle recommendations, especially when it references floater tires.
Typical installation time is 6 hours or more.

Identify prior to purchasing....
- Verify Grain Cart Serial Number
- This kit provides load cell spindles of 3.75" diameter.
This kit is a lower cost option for this model of grain cart. It reduces the spindle size from 4.5" to 3.75" with the use of a bushing on the spindle. It should be noted...It is okay to use this scale kit without large floater tires, however, if the grain cart has large floater tires, this kit is not recommended, and it is required to use the 4.5" spindle kit.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.

Ensure your current spindle size is 4.5" Diameter. This kit is required if you have large metric floater tires on the grain cart.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.
