Questions to be asked to identify the correct scale variation....
1. What is the undercarriage of the grain cart, single axle, tracked, or walking tandem?
2. What is the serial number of the grain cart?
3. Does the grain cart have a bolted on "fixed" hitch that is bolted directly to the end cap (See images below)?
The Brent 874 Grain Cart Scale System is a completely bolt on type scale installation. There is no welding required.
The Brent 884 Grain Cart Scale system has three different undercarriage variations, single axle, tracked and walking tandem! Special consideration should be applied when identifying your scale system and options for the undercarriage. Please see the information below to identify the correct scale system.
Typical installation time is 6 hours or more.
Single Axle Spindle
Identify prior to purchasing....
- This kit provides load cell spindles of 4.5" diameter.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.

TRACKED
Typical installation time is 6 hours or more.

Identify prior to purchasing....
- This kit provides 2 load cell CT (Compression) that suspend the hopper over the track axles, and an additional load-cell shaft for the hitch. The picture below show the placement of the CT load cell. Typically there is a small shaft about the size of a soda can installed on the grain cart in place of the load cell. This will be replaced with a load cell during installation. See picture below.

Walking Tandem Axle Spindles
Typical installation time is 9 hours or more.

- This kit provides 4 load cell spindles of 3.75 diameter and a hitch load cell.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.
