Creating a POINT Account

This help article will walk you through creating a POINT account with the Android App.   Once you create an account you can then connect and register your POINT device to your account.  
 

For anti theft purposes, once a POINT device is assigned to an account, only the account owner, or a Scale-Tec representative can unassign the POINT device to the account.  Please contact Scale-Tec directly if you believe your POINT device was stolen and we will work to recover it for you.

Download and install the Scale-Tec POINT mobile app.  If you need to refer to a help article to do this, please refer to the linked article here.


1. Click the "CREATE ACCOUNT" link on the log in splash screen.




2. Enter in your Email Address and create a password then click "Continue"

Your email address will be used for logging into the system.






3. Fill in your address information and Contact Phone Number, and click Create Account

We will not share your information across third party services.  The purpose of providing this information to Scale-Tec is in accordance with our privacy policy and data usage.  This information will be utilized for product support purposes.



4.  Once you have successfully created your account, you will be guided to the POINT device connection screen.  Click Continue and complete the setup of your point device on Android.
