The Kinze 840 Grain Cart is a bolt on type installation.  Typical installation time is 6 hours or more

-Refer to the hitch explanation section to determine if you will need to purchase a slide on hitch receiver.  Your cart may already be equipped with the hitch receiver if you have a swivel hitch.

Warning
It is critical that you ensure you have slide out spindles on your grain cart.   Scale-Tec has run across KINZE 840 grain carts, or Grain Carts that have been restored as KINZE 840's that are really KINZE 800 model grain carts.   Older model KINZE Grain Carts do not have slide out spindles, and will require the Weld-On Kit in.

This kit provides new spindle weldments as shown below.  These weldments have new sleeves pre-welded onto the slide out frame and require no welding.  This kit requires you to exchange your spindles.  Scale-Tec will arrange pickup of your old spindles, you just have to have them palletized and banded for return.

There is not a Kinze 840 tracked cart kit.

HITCH Explanation


The Kinze 840 Grain Cart supports an "end cap" with a bolted on hitch option.   This end cap has two different variations.  If you have a "swivel" hitch, you will not need to purchase a hitch option listed below.
