Pausing-Freezing-Holding-the Weight on Your POINT Device

WEIGHT PAUSE (HOLD)

One of the basic features of the POINT device from the keypad is to provide a "Pause" in weight.  This will "freeze" the scale.   This feature is a handy feature for mobile scale implements, as moving from one point to another always shows variation in weight.  Typically this is caused by flexing of the frame, or position of your spindles in the change of position.

Point allows you to pause your weight in both the "Gross" (total) mode, or the "Tare" (loading/unloading) mode of operation.   The following procedures show how to utilize the pause/hold mode of POINT....

GROSS WEIGHT (Total WEIGHT) PAUSE/HOLD

Prior to movement of the mobile scale.....

1. Ensure you are in the Gross (Total) mode.  It should say Gross on the LCD.

2. Press and hold the Stop button symbol for three seconds.

The weight on the indicator will "freeze" and the word "Hold" will display on the LCD.

3.  Move your scale to the next position and come to a stop, or near stop.

4.  Press the STOP button symbol again for three seconds and the weight will unfreeze.


UNLOAD/LOAD (TARE) Pause/Hold

Prior to movement of the mobile scale, and while in the unloading or loading (Tare) mode...

1.  Press and hold the Play/Pause button for three seconds.

The weight on the indicator will "freeze" and the word "Hold" will display on the LCD.

3.  Move your scale to the next position and come to a stop, or near stop.

4.  Press the PLAY/PAUSE button symbol again for three seconds and the weight will unfreeze.
