Updating POINT® Firmware
This video shows you how to update your POINT® firmware directly from the REAP mobile app. Written instructions are provided below the video.
IMPORTANT: Do not disconnect power from the POINT® display during the update process. POINT® will turn off for approximately two minutes during this update process and turn itself back on. Do not shut off your tractor during this process; doing so may result in damage to the POINT® indicator.
1. Open the REAP app and press My Operation (at the bottom of the screen).
2. Select the Carts module.
3. Select your POINT® scale.
4. If there's an update available, a green Update Available button will appear in the Firmware section. Press the green Update Available button.
5. A new screen will appear and the software will begin to download. When the software is downloaded, a green Update button will appear. Press the green Update button.
6. The firmware will begin updating. This process takes approximately 5-8 minutes. Once the update is complete, POINT® will power off for approximately 2 minutes, and then it will automatically power back on. Do not disconnect the power during this process. When POINT® powers on, the update is complete.
