Selecting a New Harvested Moisture Value

Selecting a New Harvested Moisture Value

The REAP system provides dry weight and dry bushel conversion dynamically according to the shrink schedule configured for the field and destination of the commodity.

The moisture value set on the scale page will associate to the load record when the load has been dumped from the grain cart.   It is possible to change the moisture value before, during and after the load.   In order to change the moisture value for the load, after the load has been dumped from the grain cart, you will need to refer to the help article "editing a load record."

If your scale system incorporates the GT560 indicator with auto moisture control, and you properly setup your REAP app to collect the moisture reading from the GT560 (See the help article on "Setting up your GT560 indicator for REAP", it will automatically bring in the moisture value for the load record.  If you need to manually over ride the moisture, you can do this by simply manually selecting a moisture value.   It is important to note, when you manually override the moisture setting, you will cause the auto moisture setting within REAP to be turned off.   Once your moisture sensor is corrected and working properly, you will need to turn this setting back to auto moisture.

The following depiction shows changing the moisture value on the scale screen from 15.5 % harvested moisture value, to 17.2% harvested moisture value.
