Calibrating POINT through the iOS mobile app.

Calibration: Refining the Calibration on Your POINT Device (iOS)

Easy Calibration

Point allows you to easily refine the calibration of your scale.  Although you can use your scale without the mobile app, it is necessary to use the mobile app to refine the calibration of your POINT device.  If you prefer a tech support agent to do this for you, you can initiate a remote support session and we can send in your new calibration remotely to your POINT device (internet is required).  Please see the help article referring to the remote support session.




1.  Click on the device button from the live scale screen of the mobile app.




2.  Click on Calibrate Device



3. Enter in your observed weight by clicking on the number next to the field,  as well as the certified weight, and click "Re Calibrate"

NOTE: Observed weight is the weight that you observed on the POINT scale.  


Alternatively, you can enter a known calibration number directly.



Congratulations!  You have just adjusted the calibration of your POINT scale system.
