Questions to be asked to identify the correct scale variation....
1. What undercarriage type does the grain cart have, Single Axle, Tracked, Walking Tandem?
1. What year is the Grain Cart?
-Biggest consideration in year of grain cart provides proper identification of the Tracked grain cart system.
2. Does the Grain Cart have four sleeves welded to the underside of the axle with inside diameter of 2.88"?
-Single axle newer then 2012 should utilize the 5 POINT system.
There are three variations of the J&M 1500 Grain Cart Scale system. Special attention must be paid attention to regarding hitch identification as related to the variation of scale kit needed, ESPECIALLY IN THE AREA OF THE TRACKED SCALE SYSTEMS!
Variation (1) 5.5" Single Axle

This kit is completely bolt on. Expect installation time to take 6 hours or more.

Identify prior to purchasing....
- Verify Grain Cart manufactured after the year 2000.
- This kit provides load cell spindles of 5.5 diameter.
If your grain cart provides sleeves for a 5 POINT system, it is recommended you utilize that variation, instead of the single axle.
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.

Variation (2) 5 POINT (Single axle and Tracks)

This kit is completely bolt on. Expect installation time to take 6 hours or more.

Identify prior to purchasing....
- Verify Grain Cart was manufactured in 2012 or after.
- This kit provides four load cells that support the hopper on top of the axles. Verify your grain cart has the mounting sleeves welded to the axles shown with the arrows in the diagram below...
A measurement of the hole spacing in the sleeve must be taken between the edge of the sleeve and center of the hole. This kit supports a 3 inch hole spacing. See figure below...
- Verify your hitch style looks similar to the picture below the hitch receiver retained by six bolts to the frame of the grain cart.

Variation (3) Walking Tandem Axle (Row Crop)
