Instructions for Replacing AWT 5 Pin Crown Connector Ends


Step 1. Cut the damage ends off of the cables.

 

 

Step 2. Install the boot (P/N:24167-0017) onto the load cell cable.


  


Step 3. Strip back the outer shielding 1 ¼”.


 


Step 4. Insert the wires into their corresponding pins on the can (P/N:14452-0020) & solder them into place.  (It is easiest to solder them in this order D – C – E – B – A)





 

They should look like this when done:





Step 5.
Test your weigh bar before continuing to step 6!

If your bar tests good please proceed to step 6.

 

Step 6. Use 100% silicone the solder points on the connector.


 


Step 7. Slide the boot down over the silicone.

Please allow at least 12 hours for the silicone to cure.
