John Deere Grain Harvest Weight Sharing ( GHWS ) Setup

Connecting to John Deere Grain Harvest Weight Sharing (GHWS)

  1. Mount POINT on the magnetic mounting bracket.

  2. Place POINT with the magnetic mount on the side or front of the grain cart.

  3. Connect the load cell cable to POINT.

  4. Connect the 8-pin end of the ISOBUS cable to POINT.

  5. Connect the 9-pin end of the ISOBUS cable to the tractor.

  6. Power the POINT on by pressing the far left button.

  7. Download the “Scale-Tec POINT” app to a phone or tablet.

  8. Open the app and Create a POINT Account.

  9. Connect to the POINT to automatically complete the Registration and Setup.

  10. Update POINT to the Newest Firmware Version.

  11. Use the Choose Mode Button to enable PowerUp (ISOBUS and PTO Detection).

  12. Power cycle the tractor at this time to allow ISOBUS to connect

  13. Adjust The Calibration if necessary.
